* Changed access to Curriculum Exchange resources

* Curriculum Exchange Archive decommissioned

The Curriculum Exchange (CX) is the digital resource service of the Department of Education, Training and the Arts (DETA), and its website is now located within the Learning Place website.

CX resources are now available in the Curriculum Exchange resource centre, which is available to all staff and students in Qld state schools and Learning Place Affiliates.

The old CX website (called the Curriculum Exchange Archive) was kept in place to allow time for everyone to transition to the CX resource centre, and access ceased on 30 June 2007.

* Finding CX resources

All of the collections in the old CX were migrated to the CX resource centre.

  • Browse your favourite collections from the front page of the CX resource centre.
  • Find specific Curriculum Exchange resources items by searching the Curriculum Exchange resource centre with the "item title" enclosed in quotation marks.
  • Limit your search to a specific collection by selecting it in the Guided search.
  • Use the Power search and select a search from the drop-down list. Wait for the new search options to load on the page, then select specific criteria relevant to your search.

Further assistance can be found by using the Learning Place Help or the CX TIPS item Using the CX resource centre.

Queensland state schools

Passwords are not required from Queensland state schools or other locations within the Education Queensland network. From home, state school staff may access the CX resource centre by using their Learning Place logon details. If you are a Qld state school teacher and are not currently registered please join the Learning Place. Student registration can be completed by a teacher at the school.

Non-EQ schools and universities

Staff and students in Queensland non-state schools, and in Education faculties at Queensland Universities, are able to access the Curriculum Exchange resource centre through Learning Place Affiliates program.

If you have any questions, please contact the Curriculum Exchange on 3421 6474 or by email to Curriculum.Exchange@deta.qld.gov.au.
