The Developing Performance Framework was developed in partnership with the Queensland Teachers Union, Queensland Public Sector Union, Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union, Principal 's Associations and the Queensland Parents and Citizens Association.
It was piloted in a range of schools and work units (new window) 195k
from June 2006 — June 2007 to ensure that it was effective, inclusive and met the needs of all employees. The executive summaries from the interim report (new window) 81k
and the final report (new window) 73k
from the pilot are available for download from this website.
As a result of this pilot, the Developing Performance Framework has now been endorsed and phased statewide implementation has begun.
Regional teams are currently planning strategies to support their schools and work units to integrate the Developing Performance Framework into their day to day practices. Within each region, a number of schools (new window) 141k
have also been selected to extend the original pilot and provide local examples of integration of the Developing Performance Framework.
Central office teams are currently planning strategies to integrate the Developing Performance Framework and have access to a team based in Professional Development Branch to support these strategies.
Details of the key timelines for phased statewide implementation are available by downloading the information sheets below.
