Planning for a study tour needs to occur well in advance of the program commencement. EQI requires at least 3 months to put a homestay program into place. There is a very high demand for our schools particularly during the months of July and August and schools in the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Cairns areas are usually booked early. If you are requesting a school in these areas, it is best to start preparation no later than October of the preceding year.
As part of EQI 's ongoing commitment to ensuring students receive quality outcomes from their study tour, a Pre-Departure Orientation package is available to each participant. This is a valuable resource for students and their parents and addresses topics such as what to expect, what to bring, useful phrases, living with an Aussie family, safety tips and much more. The package includes a booklet translated into several languages and a PowerPoint presentation for agents to deliver to students and parents prior to departure.
A copy of the Pre-Departure Orientation package will be available upon making a booking.
