The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is a rigorous, world recognised curriculum program which involves studying Years 11-12 in an authorised IB school. Upon the completion of Years 11 and 12, students are awarded the Queensland Certificate of Education by the Queensland Studies Authority. This certificate is an internationally recognised qualification. In addition students will also receive an IB Certificate which is also an internationally recognised qualification

Many international students who complete high school in Queensland choose to also complete their tertiary studies in Queensland. Information regarding tertiary education in Queensland can be found at the Study Queensland

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is available in two Queensland government international program high schools - Indooroopilly State High School
and Mountain Creek State High School
.
Applications are assessed primarily on the basis of a student's academic records and English language proficiency. Students should have achieved high academic results across a range of subjects at Year 10 level prior to entry. Continued enrolment in the IB Diploma Program will be reviewed each term.
Students will be required to study additional curriculum components as part of this program.
