You’ll find e-learning tools, authoring spaces, quality assured courses, amazing online events, evaluated resources, collaborative projects and much more.
There are 6 areas of the Learning Place. Each area of the Learning Place has a different purpose and a different set of tools to support staff and student learning.
You can go to each area via the top navigation under the banner or the left hand navigation from the home page. To return to the home page, click once on the Learning Place in the top left banner. Although we have tried to have similar navigation throughout the site, you will need to become familiar with each application and tool. They all have similar qualities and allow you to author content. Select Site map in the top right banner to help you find areas quickly.
If you want to do anything in the Learning Place you have to be a member and have a Learning Place username and password. This is necessary to protect our staff and students. You can access the Curriculum Exchange from our EQ network (eg within a school) without a Learning Place username.
Decide which area (or combination) would best meet your students or your own learning needs. You are only limited by your imagination! Here are some examples:
The 'how to' sheets are available to help staff and students to use the Learning Place. They can be used as single-copy resources to help with preparation or can be used as handouts for sessions on different aspects of the Learning Place.
