Teaching vacancies

Staff in region offices manage all teaching vacancies within schools. Once received, an application is processed by the Teacher Applicant Centre and remains active for 12 months. Some hard-to-fill vacancies may be advertised in local and interstate newspapers and seek.com. Those vacancies are also outlined in the vacancies spreadsheet (new window) 23k Microsoft® Excel® spreadsheet. The spreadsheet details the relevant contact officer for each vacancy should you be interested in a particular position.

View the Department's interactive maps to get contact details for your local region office.
