Teacher Applicant Centre (TAC TEAM)

The Teacher Applicant Centre (TAC) plays a critical role in the management and maintenance of all teacher applicant information held on the Department of Education, Training and the Arts Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS). The centre is based at Ipswich and all applications for teacher employment are to be forwarded to the centre for data entry processing.

TAC's main responsibilities include:

Applicants interested in working in Identified Indigenous Schools should also complete a Partners for Success Expression of Interest: Partners for Success Expression of Interest (new window) 259k Microsoft® Word document and the Partners for Success Process Flowchart (new window) 45k Microsoft® Word document.

Applicants interested in becoming a teacher in Queensland are required to have Teacher Registration. You can access all relevant information and the relevant application via the Queensland College of Teachers External Link

Teacher Relief and Contract Employment Register (TRACER) Applicants interested in registering for relief teaching with the TRACER unit should complete the application via the TRACER Website External Link
